　　Another thing that really makes a difference is how the machine grips and feeds the cable. Twin-core wires can easily slip if they’re not held properly, and once that happens, your strip length is off or the inner cores get stretched. A machine with accurate clamping and synchronized feeding just feels more reliable—you spend less time readjusting and more time getting consistent results.

　　If I had to recommend a type, I’d lean toward a semi-automatic to fully automatic machine with programmable memory. When you’re switching between different cable specs, you don’t want to start from scratch every time.
